Unusual Activity Dashboard
The Unusual Activity Dashboard provides key insights into threats within your CrashPlan environment and provides a number of tools to help evaluate and quarantine threats.

Managing Unusual Activity
a. | Active Alerts | Displays the count of active alerts in your environment. Alerts remain active until they’re resolved by an administrator. |
|---|---|---|
b. | Total number of alerts | Displays the count of all alerts in your environment. Both active and resolved alerts are included in this count. |
c. | Total number of devices | Displays the count of devices that have alerts. Since some devices may have multiple alerts, this number may be smaller than the total number of alerts. |
d. | Active incidents only | Toggles whether you want to show active alerts only or display all alerts. |
e. | Quick actions | Disable device - Immediately disables and quarantines the device. Resolve all - Resolves all active alerts for the device. Get Logs - Generates detailed log files about the device to help further investigate incidents. Show trend - Displays a graph of activity for the device over time. Show/Hide details -Toggles the device activity details pane. |
Device activity details
f. | Backup start time and Alert type | Displays what time the last backup started for the device, as well as the type of alert that was triggered (if known) |
|---|---|---|
g. | View details | Shows further details about the device. |
h. | Additional device details | Shows the device name, the username, the alert type (if known), and the total number of files backed up by the device. |
i. | Activity details | Displays the possible number of file infections, the number of files deleted, the number of files created, and the number of files modified, each showing the status as resolved or unresolved. |
Manage Quarantined Devices
If a device has been disabled in the Manage Unusual Activities part of the dashboard, it will appear here. While quarantined, the device will not back up. Once a device has been cleared for activity, you can enable it.
Manage File Quarantine List
Upload samples of infected files to the list to prevent backup of the particular file hash in your environment. Once the file is removed from the list, backup of that specific file hash will be allowed.
Asset has been Quarantined
The file, device, email, or data assets has been isolated by the system because it was identified as suspicious, infected, non-compliant, or potentially harmful. Quarantined assets are restricted from normal access or activity until they are reviewed, approved, cleaned, or restored by an administrator.
