Confirming Backup Activity

After the server is active, CrashPlan begins protecting the server based on the assigned backup policy.

1. Go to the CrashPlan Dashboard.
2. Review backup job status.
3. Confirm that backup jobs are running successfully.
4. Use the available reporting sections to monitor activity and progress.

Administrators can use the following areas to track backup health:

Backup Controls

New backup controls include:

• Full backups
• Incremental backups
• Manual backups
• Scheduled backups
• Stop backup
• Backup initiation directly from the portal
• Device-level policy assignment
