Comparing Entra Tenant States

Use Compare Entra Tenant State to compare Entra data between two points in time or compare a point-in-time state with the live backup.

This comparison can help you identify changes to backed-up Entra objects between the selected states.

1. Sign in to the CrashPlan portal.

2. From the left navigation menu, select Manage All Assets.

3. Open the required Microsoft Entra tenant.

4. Click Compare Entra Tenant State.

5. In the Compare Entra Tenant State dialog, under Compare source:

   • Click Select a date and select the source date.

   • Specify the required hour and minute.

6. In the comparison section, select one of the following:

   • Point-In-Time — Compares the source state with the Entra backup from another selected date and time.

   • Live Backup — Compares the selected source state with the current live backup.

7. If you select Point-In-Time, click Select a date and specify the date, hour, and minute for the state you want to compare.

8. Click Compare.

9. Review the comparison results to identify differences between the selected Entra tenant states.

The dates and times available for comparison depend on the available backup data for the selected tenant.
